Diego Rincon-Yanez is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). His research focuses on neuro-symbolic AI, bridging symbolic representationand neural learning through semantic-web frameworks and knowledge graphs, vector-based representations, and reproducible machine-learning processes.

Prior to joining WU, Diego was a Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin within the ADAPT Centre in Ireland, and at the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI) in Germany. He received his PhD (2023) from the University of Salerno in Italy. Diego possesses a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications across the Information Sciences and Semantic Web communities and has served as a program committee member and reviewer for multiple conferences and journals.
