Background

Maria Fiala is a Ph.D. candidate and project staff member in the Institute of Production Management at WU Vienna. She holds both a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from WU Vienna.

Her current research focuses on behavioural operations management and human-AI interaction, with a particular emphasis on explainable AI and factors influencing user acceptance.
