Adhurim Imeri is a Ph.D. candidate and lecturer in the Institute of Production Management at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna (WU). He holds a master's degree in supply chain management from WU. Before his academic engagement, he was active in consulting projects in the grocery retail and the packaging industry. He lectures supply chain planning and applicable methods and tools in operations management. His research focus is on plausible process innovations for waste reduction in supply chains, particularly focusing on data-driven simulation and optimization models towards developing managerial decision support systems.
