Since 2015, the Research Institute Economics of Inequality at WU Vienna has been investigating the extent, causes and consequences of socio-economic inequalities. It offers a platform for multi-disciplinary research on questions of utmost societal relevance and for discussion with students, academics and the public.

We are pleased to hereby announce a workshop on Wealth Inequality and Intergenerational Mobility and two public lectures, organized in cooperation with the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation and the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality of the Graduate Center of the City University New York, as well as a pre-conference workshop on the Luxembourg Wealth Study Database.
