Intangible assets (IA) are increasingly central to business value, but their treatment across accounting, tax, and transfer pricing frameworks can vary significantly. This seminar will explore the principles and practicalities of IA valuation through an integrated lens. Participants will gain an understanding of the similarities and differences in valuation purposes, definition of IA, basis of value, and valuation methodologies across these domains. Emphasis will be placed on identifying key areas of interaction and potential misalignment, equipping professionals with the knowledge to identify and navigate potential compliance risks.
 

This Lecture will be held by Richard Goh of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Raffaele Petruzzi of WU Vienna.
