Austria’s ClimateLaunchpad 2026 Finalists

Nine pioneering startups have been selected to pitch at the national final for a ticket to the Global Final in Singapore.

1. Baltic Jungle LAB: Provides textile factories with in-pipe systems that convert wastewater into real-time data to reduce microfaser emissions directly at the source.

2. HanfBauSysteme: Produces prefabricated, carbon-negative hemp-lime panels for the construction sector, providing excellent insulation and a healthy living environment.

3. Joyh: Joyh is a building technology startup rethinking the building envelope. By combining 3D mineral printing with its own design-to-production software, the company turns ideas into facade systems engineered to perform, adapt and last.

4. Own your Closet (OC): A "phygital" fashion platform that uses an AI stylist and a swapping community to ensure that clothing stays in circulation longer.

5. NEREIA: Develops non-toxic antifouling technologies for ships to prevent biofouling, which could save the shipping industry up to 200 million tonnes of CO2

6. ReneTrax: Develops intelligent robotic maintenance systems for large-scale solar farms, automating cleaning while enabling smarter maintenance to reduce energy losses, operational workload, and water consumption.

7. Repartum: A digital circular-economy platform for reused and refurbished spare parts from end-of-life devices, helping extend product lifetimes and reduce electronic waste.

8. re:state: Ending decor waste. Using a proprietary material made from by-products and a closed-loop system, interior design objects can be endlessly reshaped with 90% less energy than traditional manufacturing.

9. SORBAIR: Redefining atmospheric water generation through next-generation absorbent materials, with performance that far exceeds conventional standards.
