WU Campus provides public terminals that can be used to e.g. look up information or carry out administrative activities. The Interactive Campus Map gives you an overview of their locations. Please enter "Surfstation", "Infoterminal" or "Self-Service Terminals" as search terms.
Infoterminals are located near the main entrances of each building and can be used as a guide - e.g. to look for people in the WU Directory or for rooms in the Interactive Campus Map. Infoterminals can easily be recognized by their triangular shape. Moreover, they have the same color as the campus buildings in which they are located (each campus building has a unique colour on public signposts and the schematic campus plan).
Surfstations offer free access to all WU websites and to some IT services (e.g. LIPS). In order to use external Internet sites as well as the WU library catalogs, you need to provide authentication. This can be either done by using your login data or by using an access medium for contactless registration (e.g. your student ID card).
How to log in at Surfstations

Hold the card to the black NFC field. If the card is recognized by the device, you will hear a short beep. If the field in the right upper corner of the screen still displays Limited Internet Access, repeat the procedure.
Tip or click on the Login button in the right upper corner of the screen and enter your WU login data.
WU's Self Service Terminals (SST) are located on level 2 in the LC building near to the Study Service Center and offer administrative services to students. Some of these services are also available as Online Services for Students. The Self-Service Terminals can be used to:
print transcripts and enrollment confirmations
these can also be downloaded as Digital Documents
pay tuition fees or students' union (ÖH) fees electronically
(get online banking info here)
print the validity on to your student ID card
take a photo for your student ID card (only for new students during registration)
