Bernhard Böhm, MSc

Bernhard Böhm is a graduate of the Master program in Business & Management (Specialization in Marketing & Media Management) from the Stockholm School of Economics. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences (Business Administration) from WU. During his Bachelor studies, he spent a trimester at the Oregon State University (USA) and participated in a summer school at the London School of Economics (LSE). During his Master studies, he concluded his international experience through an exchange semester at the Corvinus University of Budapest.

Bernhard gained practical experiences working in Austria, Italy and Denmark. He worked for Ogilvy & Mather, SPLESCH Group GmbH and gained further professional experience in internships and part time jobs in the Advertising, Event & Promotion industry (Robert/Boisen & Like-minded Denmark, KESCH Event & Promotion GmbH) as well as the Higher Education Sector (WU Executive Academy).

His dissertation focuses on the performance management of institutional mergers.

Prior to joining the Institute in November 2019, he already worked as an academic lecturer in the Higher Education Sector in Austria.

As a lecturer, he is teaching the following courses at WU:

Summer semester - Business Planning in the Master's program Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control (SIMC-Master)

Winter semester - Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership, as well as a Project seminar in the CFM program of the Bachelor major in International Business Administration
