He was the one who, in the late 1990s – as Chairman of Bank Austria – mobilized the founders of the E&I Chair in an incredibly entrepreneurial way. Since then, he has continuously supported the institute as a mentor and advisor - without him, there would be no E&I!
He is also very proud of what has become of the once small start-up.
Even at the age of 95, he remains active in numerous roles.
