E&I connects with international top universities at the GATE I roundtable!

29/09/2021

On Sep 23rd, the WU Entrepreneurship Center (WU Gründungszentrum) hosted the GATE I roundtable, an international, Europe-wide network bringing together universities with the aim to foster entrepreneurship.

Rudolf Dömötör, director of the WU Entrepreneurship Center, opened the discussion with a broad overview about entrepreneurship at WU and how the E&I institute made its way up to the institution it now has become.  As a guest speaker, the host welcomed Peter Keinz. He shed light on the importance of collaboration between universities and how this can leverage innovation. In fact, he explained the close link between business and tech which the institute is creating by applying the TCL method. At the end, the importance and the benefits of such collaborations and a network like GATE I became very clear.

Many thanks to the WU Entrepreneurship Center (WU Gründungszentrum) for bringing the GATE I roundtable to WU. It was a great pleasure connecting with universities all over Europe! Moreover, Gate I is organizing an international startup-competition in Berlin, where the WU Entrepreneurship Center has nominated Christoph Hornik (E&I alumnus) with his start-up Epiclay – congrats and best of luck!
