E&I Alumni startup "breathe ilo" closed a €3 million financing round

09/11/2020

The up-and-coming Austrian FemTech company Carbomed Medical Solutions with its product breathe ilo recently closed a €3 million financing round.

The young high-tech company is managed by Bastian Rüther, a former student of the SBWL E&I at the WU. Bastian had already built and sold a company parallel to his studies and gained experience in his professional career also in fast growing start-ups such as N26. The theoretical background of SBWL E&I helped him to successfully master the interface between innovation, technology and organizational development.

Once again, we are excited to see our Alumni thriving and working on such important topics. Keep on going, Bastian!

If you are interested in how Bastian and his team managed to raise funds in times of this crisis, join our first E&I Alumni Lunch this Thursday, November 12th (12-1 pm) online on Microsoft Teams. He will discuss this topic together with exciting Alumni from our network and provide some insights on his best practices and lessons learned.
