Dorothee Horvath joins E&I!

We welcome Dorothee Horvath as a new Assistant Professor (NTT) at E&I

Before joining the E&I Team in 2024, Dorothee completed her doctoral studies at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where she also worked as a research associate and taught courses on market, advertising, and consumer psychology, organizational and business psychology, motivation and leadership, and empirical management- and organizational research. She also taught courses at the Europa-Universität Flensburg and Hochschule Fresenius and spent a research stay at the National University of Singapore in 2017. Dorothee holds a master’s degree in Organizational and Business Psychology from the Technical University of Darmstadt and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary). During her studies, she also spent a year at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield (UK). 

Her research focuses on error management culture and how teams can learn from failures and turn them into success, with recent publications in the Journal of Business and Psychology, the Journal of Experimental Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology and the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.

With her background in Business Psychology and vast experience in teaching and research, we proudly welcome Dorothee to the team!
