Amin Anjomshoaa is a senior researcher at the Institute for Data, Process, and Knowledge Management of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and the Complexity Science Hub Vienna research center. In 2019, he was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship and conducted his research at the University of Galway and Maynooth University. In 2014, he received the Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship and worked as visiting researcher and project lead at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Before that, he served as an assistant professor and director of the Linked Data Lab at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna).

He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vienna University of Technology in 2009, a dual Master’s degree in "Software Engineering & Internet Computing" and "Information Management" from Vienna University of Technology in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Kerman, Iran.
