Research

Our Research Approach

At the Institute, we study how organizational change can be navigated effectively and responsibly in a dynamic environment. Our particular interest lies in strategic change processes in the context of major societal challenges, such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, diversity, and the transformation of work and organizations.


Our research combines academic excellence with practical relevance. We pursue theorydriven research using a pluralistic set of methods and maintain close links with practice in line with an engaged scholarship philosophy. Our work draws on both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, frequently employing longitudinal field studies within organizations.


Through collaborations with organizations, we generate robust insights that contribute to academic discourse while also providing guidance for responsible action in practice.
