Bachelor & Master thesis supervision
We like to stay in touch with outstanding students who bring exceptional interest and talent for strategic management as well as an impeccable grade and track record. If you are interested in writing your thesis at our Institute you can find the most important information below. You are strongly advised to read our thesis guide prior to applying for a supervision.
Bachelor thesis supervision at ISM
We offer outstanding students the opportunity to write their bachelor thesis about interesting topics in the area of Strategic Management (mainly focusing on Strategic Alliances).
Since we only have very limited capacities, we have implemented a competitive tendering procedure with three submission deadlines per year (end of January, end of May, end of September).
For each deadline students are invited to submit their application (including CV, letter of motivation, GPA, grade certificate) via a form which will be accessible two weeks prior to the deadline. Within two weeks we will select the students with the best fit and grant them the opportunity to write their thesis at ISM.
Please note that the successful completion of a course on Strategic Management (ideally "International Strategic Management 1" and "International Strategic Management 2" of the "Cross Functional Management" specialization) and "Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens"/"Academic Research Techniques" constitutes a prerequisite for applying for a bachelor thesis supervision at our Institute.
