Work at IfU, previous experience and academic profile

Nina joined the Institute for Strategy and Managerial Accounting (IfU) as a research and teaching associate in November 2025. She completed both her Bachelor’s (BBE) and Master’s (SIMC) degrees at WU Vienna and gained international experience through exchange semesters at Université Paris Dauphine PSL and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Alongside her studies, she completed internships in diverse roles and industries, including banking, tourism administration, and the climate tech sector.

Research interest

Through her academic and professional background, Nina has developed a strong interest in carbon management and corporate climate strategies. In her current research, she aims to explore the role of management control systems in integrating carbon-related objectives into strategic decision-making processes.
