Resilience - the human being in search of safe boundaries and self-development

In this workshop I will present a model that I also use psychoeducationally in my practice. The window of tolerance by D. Siegel/Dr. Borges shows that our autonomic nervous system strives for safety, searches for solutions and regulates stress.

More specifically, resilience in everyday life means being able to regulate ourselves when we're stressed, i.e. calming ourselves down again and putting ourselves in a a self-empowered state of being.

You will learn about the wisdom of our autonomic nervous system and how it takes care of our resilience and explore our safe limits by learning to recognize the first signs (prodromal phase) that show us that a limit has been reached.

Rainer Schafhuber works in private practice in Vienna, gives lectures and is leading education programs on the topics of resilience, trauma-sensitive support and neurosomatic stress processing.
