Welcome to Recent Advances in Location and Routing

The Workshop "Recent Advances in Location and Routing" will be held on October 30, 2026 at the campus of WU Wien.

 

This event is organized by the Institute for Statistics and Mathematics (WU Wien).

Join us for the workshop "Recent Advances in Location and Routing", bringing together leading researchers in operations research, optimization and logistics, to discuss the latest developments in facility location, network design, vehicle routing, and integrated decision-making under uncertainty. The workshop will highlight emerging methodologies, data-driven approaches, and real-world applications shaping the future of transportation and supply chain systems.

The program features a keynote lecture by Elena Fernández, University of Cadiz, and aims to foster exchange between researchers and practitioners working on cutting-edge challenges in location analysis and routing optimization.

Registration
  • Registration: June 1 to October 10, 2026
    Registration via online form will be possible from June 1 onwards. Registrations via e-mail are not possible and will not be accepted.
  • Registration Fee
    The registration fee is €60. This includes coffee breaks and lunch. 

    Registration is finalized once payment is completed. 

    ​​​Due to space constraints; registrations by non-presenting attendees will be treated on a first come first serve basis.
