PD Dr. Michaela Neumayr

Michaela Neumayr is assistant professor at the Institute for Nonprofit Management at WU Vienna. Her research areas are charitable giving, philanthropy and society, nonprofits’ funding, and nonprofits’ roles in society.

She holds a doctoral degree in economics from the Institute for Social Policy, WU Vienna and Magister degrees in Business Education and in Economics, also from WU. In 2005, she studied at Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE). Michaela was researcher at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) and worked for Statistics Austria, Green Budget Germany, and Service Civil International – Austria during her studies.
