Agnes Köchl is a university assistant (prae doc) at the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Governance. She studied mass media and communication science as well as cultural and social anthropology in Vienna. Before joining academia, she worked for many years in strategic communications consulting - most recently as a mobilization and fundraising expert for NGOs. Her research interests lie in the field of civil society engagement in health and urban contexts as well as digital political participation. She is particularly interested in the topics of activism, inclusion, and social justice - with a special focus on gender.
