We are looking for two motivated student teaching assistants to support the Core Lecture (WiSe 2025/2026)!

  • Part-time | biweekly | 6 hours/week (40 hours in total per person)

  • On-site availability required biweekly on Mondays (on two occasions on Wednesdays) from 12:00–16:00

  • Eligibility: Prior completion of the E&I SBWL or current enrollment in SIMC (with completed E&I-related coursework)

  • Start: October 1, 2025 | End: January 31, 2026

  • Paid position (Werkvertrag)

Are you interested in gaining behind-the-scenes insights into academic teaching, contributing to the learning experience of WU students, and actively supporting the teaching activities of the E&I Institute?

We are looking for two student teaching assistants to support the E&I Core Lecture in the upcoming winter semester. This foundational course introduces students to key theories and methods in entrepreneurship and innovation. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the course instructors to ensure smooth course delivery and a high-quality student experience.

Your tasks:

  • Support the teaching team with the organization and administration of the course (incl. preparation of course materials, if needed)

  • Assist during lectures (e.g., technical setup, participation records, student engagement)

  • Help with evaluation and exam activities (e.g., grading module checks and quizzes, supervising exams)

  • Manage and maintain the course platform (e.g., Canvas@WU), including uploading materials, announcements, and updates

  • Respond to student inquiries in collaboration with the course team

Your profile:

  • Currently enrolled at WU Vienna

  • Completion of the E&I SBWL or current enrollment in SIMC with completed E&I-related coursework

  • Availability to attend the lectures on-site biweekly on Mondays (on two occasions on Wednesdays) from 12:00 to 16:00

  • Strong academic performance and interest in entrepreneurship and innovation

  • Reliable, proactive, and well-organized with excellent time-management skills

  • Precise, detail-oriented, and able to work in a structured and independent manner

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
