Stewarding Your Future: Leadership at the Gateway of Ai and Human Consciousness

the word "event" written on cubes

“Ai doesn’t forgive your gaps, it scales 100% you. But whether you lead humans or Ai, you always have to lead yourself first.

A great thing about leading people is that they cover for our gaps. They fill them with their own morals, explain challenges and bounce back. Human resilience is fantastic. AI does none of that. It mirrors 100% of you and scales from wherever you actually stand, so your clarity grows exponentially, and so do your blind spots.

Drawing on international research from Teresa’s own research in collaboration with leading cognitive scientists from the US and Canada, this session translates the edge of global Ai and human consciousness research into entrepreneurship. We look at what AI demands of the human doing the steering. We also ask what stays yours.

And most of all: we figure out, how we can lead yourself through the complexity of a future that demands so much focus, precision and structure, while staying very alive in our bodies.

No-one knows what’s coming. It’s time to learn how to navigate a future worth living.”  (Teresa Zimmermann)

Student presentations, research posters and good mood - the final event of this semester's SBWL

RSGB poster presentations - students with their poster

Recently, we hosted our poster session for the Core Course 2 sustainability group projects - and what a way to wrap up the semester!

Students from both sections of the course - quantitative and qualitative - presented their research projects to peers, faculty, and guests. The poster session was the culmination of a semester's work and a chance to see just how far the students had come. This course is designed to equip students with the fundamental skills of conducting research, and it was great to see those skills on display. Well done to everyone who took part!

A special thank you to our partner ICEP - Association for Global Development for bringing a real-world case into the qualitative section and to Daniela Ortiz Avram joining us on the day and taking the time to discuss students' findings. Working with an external partner gives students the opportunity to engage with genuine complexity and to conduct research that goes beyond the classroom.
