At this year’s WU-award ceremony the Department of Marketing was happy to again bring home several awards:

MSc Marketing graduate Ludwig Göbl won WU’s Talenta Award 2019 with his thesis titled “The Impact of Playlists on Songs' Performances - An Analysis of Music Streaming Data”. This award is given annually to the three best master theses at WU. Following the marketmind Best Thesis Award in September 2018, this is already the second award Mr. Göbl receives for his outstanding thesis which was supervised by Ass. Prof. Dr. Nils Wlömert. Congratulations, Mr. Göbl!

Bachelor students Mrs. Sarah Dittmoser-Pfeifer and Mrs. Julia Pucher won WU’s Talenta Award 2019 with their thesis titled “Food sharing – Why do(n’t) we share” supervised by Prof. DDr. Bernadette Kamleitner. Congratulations, Mrs. Dittmoser-Pfeifer and Mrs. Pucher!

Dr. Sally Bitterl and Prof. Dr. Martin Schreier were awarded for the outstanding A+ publication “When consumes become project backers: The psychological consequences of participation in crowdfunding.

Prof. DDr. Bernadette Kamleitner received the award for innovative teaching.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Christina Holweg was rewarded for the paper “Retail store operations and food waste” in the category of outstanding A publications.
