Collection

The bulk of the WU University Archives collection is made up of records on university management decision-makers and decision-making bodies (files of the Rector’s Office and the Rector’s Council, the Full Professors’ Association, and other decision-making bodies) and student records for admissions up until the 1986 summer semester. The collection also includes records kept by WU’s current administrative and service units and the organizational units that preceded them. With regard to records from academic units, at the moment our collection includes only documents from the Südost-Stiftung (Southeast Foundation), which operated at the University of World Trade during the years under Nazi rule. The WU University Archives collection also includes print materials issued by WU, the University of World Trade, and the Imperial Export Academy, photographs, and museum pieces, most notably a collection of historical classroom posters.

For more detailed information, please access part 3 of the archive regulations.

The University Archives does not keep student records for admissions from the 1986/87 winter semester onwards. If you are looking for any of those documents, please contact the Admissions office.
