Advancing women in research

Two programs for supporting women in research were established with funds from the bequest of Dr. Maria Schaumayer, former president of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.

WU4YOU scholarships for high-potential high-school students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds

A total of 33 WU4YOU scholarships are funded by Felix Porsche for a period of ten years.

Wilfried Stoll makes donation to advance research

Wilfried Stoll, managing director of Festo Holding and Honorary Consul of WU, has donated €1 million to support research at WU Vienna.

Transfer of a historic property to the WU Foundation

The WU Board of Trustees’ Franz-Klein-Gasse building changes hands to the WU Foundation

This stately historic building constructed in 1917 will be transferred to the WU Foundation upon the dissolution of the WU Board of Trustees.
