More than a historical building

The building on Franz-Klein-Gasse in Vienna’s 19th district, listed as a protected heritage site, housed the prestigious University of World Trade for many decades, serving as an important place of learning and research and a hub for visionary research. Even today, the building still attracts lovers of great architecture from around the world and is home to a research institute. Particular attention went into the aesthetic design of the building. Symbols of world trade are a recurring theme, for example in the design of the balcony decorations and the selection of pictures in the building.

In addition to the property’s important artistic and historical value, the donation also added significant economic value to the assets of the WU Foundation.
