Teaming up for Sustainability

The Green Buddies initiative, in collaboration with Marketing for the Climate course, have kicked off two student projects that promote sustainability on WU campus. . .

STaR Fellow Laura Bauer presented the WU Green Buddies initiative (collaboratively led by WU Environmental Management and STaR) in the Bachelor’s level Marketing for the Climate course. Two selected student groups will work on Green Buddies’ cases throughout the semester. The first group’s focus lies on raising awareness on the problem of single-use-plastic in our daily lives. The second group will be looking into promoting ecological and local food on the WU Vienna campus.

The results of the project will be presented at the next Green Buddies meeting on February 22, 2020.

Green Buddies is a voluntarily formed group of students and staff, who are passionate about advancing environmental and social sustainability at WU Vienna. They meet regularly to discuss new developments on our campus. Anyone is welcome to join, ask questions and present new ideas. For more information and to get involved, please click here.
