STaR Co-Director Prof. Günter K. Stahl gave a Keynote Speech at the EuroMed Conference on Business Management Theories and Practices in a Dynamic Competitive Environment in Thessaloniki, Greece (Sept 18-22). The talk, titled “Making our Research More Relevant and Impactful: Addressing Grand Societal Challenges through Management Scholarship,” addressed how management and business scholars can make their research more relevant and impactful, in terms of generating knowledge that has a wider impact on society. WU Competence Center STaR’s activities were used as an illustrative example of one way in which universities can help disseminate scientific research findings as widely as possible to create practical and societal impact.
