Dr. Fabian Nindl
Dr. Fabian Nindl worked as an Assistant Professor for the Institute for Retailing Data Science until the end of August 2021. Since October 2021 he supports our team as a Lecturer by teaching the course “Marketing and Sales for the Future”.
During his bachelor’s studies in International Business Administration at WU, Fabian completed an exchange semester at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, USA and subsequently finished his Master’s studies in Marketing at WU. In 2019 Fabian completed his PhD thesis, wherein he conducted research on access-based consumption in sports retailing.
His research focused on tech-driven consumer behavior, access-based-consumption, purpose-driven marketing, existential leadership and other marketing topics. Fabian's research on autonomous products was even published in Harvard Business Review: Link
Fabian has gained professional experience while working at various companies such as Novartis, Red Bull, Ubimet and Deloitte. Currently, he works as a Brand Manager for AstraZeneca. In addition, he loves sports and is a passionate basketball player.
