Dr. Fabian Nindl

Dr. Fabian Nindl joined the Institute for Retailing & Marketing as a Research & Teaching Associate in February 2017. During his bachelor’s studies in International Business Administration at WU, Fabian completed an exchange semester at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, USA and subsequently finished his Master’s studies in Marketing at WU. In the fall of 2019 Fabian completed his PhD thesis, wherein he conducted research on access-based consumption in sports retailing.

His research focuses on tech-driven consumer behavior, access-based-consumption, purpose-driven marketing, existential leadership and other marketing topics.

Fabian has gained professional experience while working at various companies such as Red Bull, Ubimet and Deloitte. Recently he was working for almost two years as an „Area Sales Executive“ at Novartis. In addition, he loves sports and is a passionate basketball player.
