Invited Talk and Panel Discussion at BOKU ICS Frühlingssymposium 2026

19/05/2026

Invited Talk and Panel Discussion at BOKU ICS Frühlingssymposium 2026 "Transformation von Einstellungen aus Sicht der Consumer Science" was the title of this year’s "Frühlingssymposium" of the BOKU Initiative Consumer Science at Universität für Bodenkultur Wien. It was a great honor for Monika Koller to give an invited talk on selected topics from the research within the area of consumer behavior as part of this event. Especially in challenging times, we observe diverse consumption patterns, where perceived value, emotions, and related factors play a significant role. It was particularly exciting to discuss insights from our research with the audience. Many thanks to Christoph Pfeifer, Klaus Dürrschmid, Rainer Haas, and Anna Spitzer for the invitation and warm welcome, well-guided moderation, and excellent organisation of this event. It was also very enriching to listen to the excellent other talks given by Laura Maria Wallnoefer, Leonore Lendl-Lewisch and Johannes Mayr and to engage in discussion together. The event concluded with a panel discussion of all speakers and Udo Wagner, featuring new perspectives, shared critical reflection, and a a look into the future. Monika Koller enjoyed being a part of this inspiring afternoon.
