Library To Go

03/07/2026

WU provides access to about 150,000 eBooks, countless articles in more than 32,000 eJournals, and 165 databases.

Here are the library’s three essential tips.

Tip 1: Remote Access for WU Students & WU Employees

As a WU student or WU employee, you can also access the majority of electronic resources from home or on the go. Just make sure to activate your VPN connection.

For external library users, remote access to electronic resources from outside the WU Campus is not possible for licensing reasons. You can access nearly all eResources on site at the PCs in the libraries. Members of an organization participating in eduroam can also access eResources with their own computer in the library.

Tip 2: Install the LibKey Nomad browser extension

LibKey Nomad is a browser add-on that helps you with internet searches, extending support beyond the WU Catalog and databases. When you come across a source licensed by WU while browsing, the LibKey symbol will appear, allowing you to download the article.

Tip 3: Explore PressReader and our Press Databases

PressReader is an online newspaper portal that offers access to more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines from over 100 countries in 60 languages.

Our selection tool additionally suggests databases focusing on Press.
