FSP morning chat with Nadine Kammerlander

While the weather at the end of November looked pretty bleak we were able to welcome Prof. Kammerlander for an enlightning morning chat with our junior female scholars.

Nadine Kammerlander was appointed as chaired professor of the Institute of Family Business at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in November 2015. There she co-founded the "Institute of Family Business and Mittelstand". Her research and teaching focus is on innovation and governance in family businesses and family offices as well as on social entrepreneurship. Her research has won numerous national and international awards, including the "Top 40 under 40" award in 2018. Prior to her time at WHU, she worked as an assistant professor at the University of St. Gallen. Nadine Kammerlander holds a degree in physics (TU Munich) and a doctorate in business administration (Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg). She worked for McKinsey & Company for several years and advised international companies in the automotive and semiconductor industries on product development projects. Professor Kammerlander was a member of the Supervisory Board of INDUS Holding AG until 2018. She is married and mother of three boys.
