About

Mark Golboyz is a University Assistant (prae doc) at the Institute for Social Policy at WU Vienna and a doctoral researcher in the PhD Program in Economic and Social Sciences. He studied Sociology with a minor in Economics at the University of Mannheim and Utrecht University, and Socioeconomics at WU Vienna. He was also a visiting researcher at the Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work (QUIT) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

His research focuses on the digitalisation of labour markets and the institutional conditions of technological change. In his dissertation, he investigates the effects of digitalisation on employment, unemployment, and social inequality, as well as the role of labour market policy and labour market institutions. He has published on this topic in Social Inclusion. His research interests include comparative welfare state research, industrial relations, social inequality, quantitative methods, and the socioeconomic analysis of labour.
