We were delighted to welcome Prof. Mark Sanders for a visit filled with insightful discussions, research exchanges, and a keynote on Schumpeterian growth.

On November 24–25, the E&I Institute had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Mark Sanders, a leading scholar in the fields of innovation economics, entrepreneurship and economic development.

The visit began on Monday with an interactive workshop on the Challenges of Transdisciplinary Research, where Prof. Sanders engaged with E&I researchers on methodological bridges between disciplines and the practical implications of cross-domain collaboration. Throughout the afternoon, several colleagues had the opportunity to participate in one-on-one meetings, gaining tailored feedback and exchanging ideas on ongoing research projects. The day concluded with a dinner at the Feuerdorf, offering a relaxed atmosphere for further academic and personal conversations.
 

On Tuesday, Prof. Sanders delivered an inspiring keynote titled "Schumpeterian Growth, Entrepreneurship and Economic Resilience". The keynote sparked rich discussions on innovation dynamics, policy implications, and the role of entrepreneurship in shaping resilient economic systems.
