We're excited to announce two new faces at E&I.

Theresa Nicolussi, M.Sc.: 

Before joining the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a researcher and lecturer in 2026, Theresa completed both her master’s degree in Economics and her bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

During her studies, she gained professional experience at VCP Capital Partners GmbH, where she was involved in day-to-day operations and developed an interest in international business and market dynamics, and further gained public-sector insight through an internship at the Office of the Government of Lower Austria in the Health Strategy Department.

Jakob Riener, MA:

Before joining the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a researcher and lecturer in 2026, Jakob completed his master’s degree in Fashion Design Management at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, and his bachelor’s degree in Economics – “Management by Design” at the New Design University St. Pölten.

During his studies, he focused on the intersection of business, design, and strategy, particularly in the luxury fashion industry and sustainability. He gained professional experience in consulting, strategy, and fashion, including roles at Byronesque Media Ltd., mytheresa.com, and ams-Osram AG, where he worked on brand positioning, market analysis, and product and sales strategies.
