Hinnerk studied with at the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation and has since built a remarkable career driving social innovation. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Impact Hub Vienna, he supports founders, organisations and institutions in developing entrepreneurial solutions for major societal challenges across fields such as climate, education, health, finance and the social sector. Impact Hub has grown to act as a multiplier and amplifier of social change in 65+ countries, supporting the growth of socially impactful business ideas and technologies by hosting a vibrant community, an inspiring space, and customized accelerator programs.

The EY award celebrates not only business success but also purpose-driven leadership, long-term vision and meaningful impact. In its 2025 edition the competition’s theme “Shapers of the Future” highlighted pioneers who combine growth, innovation and societal responsibility - a description that fits Hinnerk’s work perfectly.
