EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Evidenta.io emerges as a transformative startup in the Austrian labor market, aiming to reshape how recruiters and job seekers connect and interact together. With the use of advanced AI, Evidenta.io plans to bring forth a system that guarantees the CV verification process, enhances precise job matching, and aims to eliminate recruitment biases, promoting job market equality.

Goal

The objective of this project was to evaluate Evidenta.io’s competitive position within the Austrian recruitment market, aiming to pinpoint strategic areas where the startup could effectively allocate its resources to enhance user growth in a competitive environment. Key goals included analyzing the competition, understanding customer needs, formulating a targeted marketing strategy, and outlining actionable steps to achieve key growth goals and KPIs.

Methodology

Methodology incorporated diverse approaches to ensure comprehensive analysis and representative triangulation of findings. Extensive secondary research including literature review has been conducted. Quantitative surveys were deployed to gather broad market insights, complemented by qualitative interviews with HR representatives from diverse sectors across Austria. Additionally, a detailed competitor analysis was performed to benchmark Evidenta.io against current market players. This multi-faceted approach enabled formulation of well-rounded conclusions and strategic next steps.

Results

Primary market research revealed that Evidenta.io’s job-matching, CV-verification, and CV-builder features uniquely address key customer issues, often unmet by competitors, establishing a clear Unique Selling Proposition (USP). With 64% of representative users (n=142) expressing willingness to try new job-finding platforms, Evidenta.io has significant potential to attract new users. However, the sophistication of and strong competition in the Austrian recruitment market highlight the need for distinctive marketing tactics to gain traction. Social media marketing, encompassing both organic and paid strategies, could be crucial for driving user acquisition and engagement, as it presents a feature of distinction and niche-down compared to other competing hiring platforms.
