Key Facts

The MC CEE is a compact and practice-oriented complementary study program for CEE management for WU master and doctoral students. The program is designed for students with a strong interest in the CEE region and in how foreign and local businesses are successfully managed there. The program is run by the Competence Center for Emerging Markets & Central and Eastern Europe at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

• Program duration: November 2023 - end of June 2024

• Corporate partners: Erste Group, Henkel CEE, Mondi Group and Vienna Insurance Group

• 2-semester project seminar

• 5 CEE courses

• Company visits

• Soft-Skills training (teambuilding, presentation techniques)

• 2 Field trips free of charge

• Awarding of the Master Class Diploma in June 2024

Students of the program will

• Get insights into the current situation in CEE

• Learn how the CEE business environment is influencing business activities and management decisions

• Develop a better understanding of current issues multinational companies and local heroes face in the region and how they deal with them
