WU matters. WU talks. Less Dropout through Resilience (Video)

09/06/2021

Presentation by Erna Nairz-Wirth & discussion on June 9, 2021, at 6 p.m.: "How to reduce the dropout rate."

The number of students dropping out of university in Austria remains high. This is an increasing cost problem not only for universities, but also for the economy and Austria as a business location. How can the dropout rate be reduced? Does the responsibility lie with the universities or with the students? And what role does resilience, i. e., the ability to cope with setbacks, play in this context? We will discuss prevention and intervention strategies to avoid dropouts.

The event WU matters. WU talks. is organized in cooperation with the daily newspaper "Die Presse".
