Petar studied at the Universities of Vienna, Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and Paris II Pantheon-Assas, as well as the College of Europe.
He worked in the fields of antitrust law, state aid and corporate for international law firms in Brussels, Luxembourg and Munich. Additionally, he worked as a trainee with the Directorate-General for Competition (European Commission), the Bulgarian Federal Ministery of Finance and the Ministery for Foreign Affairs and as external consultant.
Petar already posseses the belgian qualification to work as a lawyer.
