Abstract

In this research talk, Fraser Likely will examine the evolution of the idea of SC/PR Department value, through an examination of the growth in theory and professional application of five measurement and evaluation units of analyses: message/product/media; campaign; program; department; and society. Fraser will put on his running shoes to critique this long run, or is it walk, to a promised finish line.

As a Chief Communication Officer, a PR/Communication management consultant, a strategic communication researcher and a part-time professor teaching courses in PR/SC strategic and performance management, Fraser’s work has paralleled the major developments in the study and practice of PR/SC function management, measurement, organization and determination of value.
