All our courses provide an interactive format that combines lectures with group work, discussions and reflections in an intercultural learning environment. A variety of teaching methods are applied to enhance the student learning experience, including in-class discussions, case studies, video materials, reading assignments, group work, external guest lectures, and oral presentations.

Our course offer includes the following courses:

1) Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership

In our Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership course, students have the opportunity to learn about fundamental theories and concepts of strategy and leadership. Upon completion of this course, students are able to understand and explain why a solid strategy coupled with good leadership is essential to survive in today’s fast-paced business environment.

2) Advanced Strategic Leadership or Advanced Strategic Management

In our Advanced Strategic Leadership and Advanced Strategic Management courses, students are exposed to in-depth concepts and theories of strategic leadership and strategic management respectively. Aspects, including the essence and scope of strategic leadership and strategic management, the role, characteristics and experience of executives and their relationship to organizational outcomes are covered in this course. Students have the opportunity to choose between two courses. One course focuses more on elaborate Strategic Leadership aspects of managing organizations and it is taught by the Institute for Higher Education Management. The other course looks more in-depth at Strategic Management aspects of leading organizations and is offered by the Institute for Strategic Management.

3) Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership Project Seminar

In our Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership project seminar, students will be able to apply the knowledge and skills gained in the previous two courses (Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership + Advanced Strategic Leadership or Advanced Strategic Management) to a company case or a project paper. In addition, this course provides research-based and experience-based learning by enabling students to carry out their own project work, which can lead to a Bachelor thesis, supervised by one of our instructors.
