The Youth Entrepreneurship Week as a guest at the WU entrepreneurship center

In the course of the successful first year of the Youth Entrepreneurship Week, it took place three times at the entrepreneurship center of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Over a period of four days each, students devoted themselves to everyday problems in order to solve them with the help of their own entrepreneurial ideas. For this purpose, they received an introduction and expertise from trainers and mentors in areas such as ideation, business model, financing and pitching. The participants trying out the various process steps directly on their idea deepened the acquired knowledge.

The initiative was strongly supported by Rudolf Dömötör, head of the WU Entrepreneurship Center, and his team members, who passed on their expertise to the young people as mentors, jurors and speakers.

Such innovative work was not to be missed by prominent guests from politics and business and visited student teams of the summer week to give feedback on their ideas and pitches. At the end of each week, the small groups then faced a highly qualified jury and presented their start-up ideas in the form of professional pitches.
