Fabian Hobodites is a research assistant at the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Prior to this, he completed a master's degree in socioeconomics at WU Vienna and a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Vienna.

Immediately after graduating, he gained experience as a staff scientist at the Institute for Advanced Studies, where he contributed to various publications in the field of health economics. These included articles on artificial intelligence and longitudinal cancer registries. In his current position at the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, he has already been involved in numerous projects, such as the European Social Enterprise Monitor and the Possibilists Survey. He also supported the design and evaluation of the global Impact Hub network survey.
