Impact Hub Global Research Partnership

Impact Hub is a global community comprising more than 16,500 social entrepreneurs in over 100 cities and 59 countries around the world. A major goal of Impact Hub is to enable peer exchange and to support individuals and projects in their development. This is put into practice via a multitude of program offers, an international infrastructure and exchange opportunities as well as through a unique common culture.

Considering the size and complexity of the Impact Hub network, a solid data basis is essential for local and global decision-making. This data is being generated by the Social Entrepreneurship Center where the design, implementation, and evaluation of two annual global surveys among all members and makers (staff) of Impact Hub is carried out.

Outputs of the common research effort are customized reports in tabular and written format – both for numerous local Hubs and aggregated for the global Impact Hub Team. Based on a unique sample of 3,400+ impact-driven workers in 81 Impact Hubs (2020), precious insights in the character and support needs of the heterogeneous group of social entrepreneurs worldwide can thus be gained. The results thereof also form the basis for further academic research on social entrepreneurship carried out by the Social Entrepreneurship Center.

The current reports can be downloaded from the Impact Hub website.
