On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the civil society movement Aufstehn, Judith Kohlenberger, , took part in a panel discussion at Studio Molière in Vienna. Together with Anahita Neghabat, Verena Mischitz, Oliver Scheiber, and representatives of the platform Ibiza Austrian Memes, the discussion reflected on key achievements such as the abolition of the “concealment paragraph” and the establishment of crisis centers for victims of domestic and sexual violence. The conversation also addressed current challenges – from the climate crisis to the migration debate, which too often hinders rather than promotes integration. The panel agreed that resignation is not an option: civic engagement requires perseverance, sound arguments, and a society open to change.
