Management in NPOs

Same same but different – this could summarize the discussion about the particularities of management in nonprofit organizations (NPOs). In many respects, the distinction between companies and NPOs regarding management is insignificant; it often comes down to whether the organization is large or small, the area of activity, and so on. However, in some aspects, there are significant differences, such as in the management of volunteers or in financing models. There is also ongoing debate about how much management is actually beneficial for NPOs. The increasing managerialism or the growing business-like approach in NPOs is therefore also critically examined.

We support NPOs with management issues in various ways, whether through strategy processes, employee satisfaction surveys, leadership training, and more.
