Development Cooperation

Overview SDGs

Development cooperation (DC) provides humanitarian aid and promotes education, peace, gender equality and environmental protection, among other things. Concrete goals that are also pursued in development cooperation have been summarised by the United Nations under the heading of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) These are 17 goals for sustainable development that the international community has set for itself by 2030.
The NPO Competence Center accompanies projects and organisations that are active in development cooperation, especially in the area of monitoring and evaluation, and asks the question of how effective development cooperation projects are and thus contribute to the SDGs. The aim is to set up impact models for programmes or organisations and to develop impact-oriented indicators and survey instruments to analyse and measure the outcome or impact of activities in development cooperation. The NPO Competence Center develops impact-oriented monitoring or evaluation processes together with organisations and also conducts impact analyses itself.
