Guest Speaker in the MSc Marketing: Paul Pöltner, CONDA Crowdinvesting


Paul Pöltner, managing partner at CONDA, discussed with students challenges, opportunities and recent trends in crowdinvesting. The term combines the words „crowd“ and „investing“ and enables groups of investors to fund start-up companies or small businesses. Unlike other types of crowdfunding, there is a focus on achieving a return on investments. From a marketing perspective, this novel type of investment opens up many interesting questions such as how to manage a crowdinvesting campaign or how to address potential investors. We thank Mr Pöltner for sharing his expertise and insights with students of the New Products Development class.
