WU Research

University researchers can use WU Research, the WU-wide research management system, to enter their own research results and make their publications open access.

WU Research guarantees the long-term archiving and citability of publications. The uploaded documents can be found worldwide. Different types of scientific work such as working papers, articles or dissertations can be entered and uploaded.

Open Journal Systems

The WU library hosts the journal management system Open Journal Systems (OJS). WU researchers can use this platform to publish open access journals free of charge. Currently, the platform is being used to publish the journal Region – The Journal of ERSA.

Research data management

Within the research processes in departments and research institutes at WU, quantitative and qualitative data are collected, processed, analyzed and newly created. Organizing and managing research data are important prerequisites for ensuring the quality, security and reproducibility of research results. This may also include preserving data over the longer term and making it accessible for potential re-use. The RDM team acts as a point of contact for researchers at WU and advises them on research data management issues.
